Best place to go if the goal is to build wealth? Large company vs. startup?

I'm a SWE with ~4 yoe. I was at Amazon for 2 years, have been at Google for 2 years and I'm bored. I'm getting the itch to start looking again, but I don't know where to go.
Let's say my primary goal is to build wealth. Should I stay at Google and switch teams or join an early stage start-up or a late stage start-up? If I went the start-up route, what are some good ones to look at?
I don't really care about work-life balance etc. Just want to maximize income.
Thanks for helping a lost soul out.

- pick an area and develop your expertise in that area
- switch after 4 years
- diversify your investment upon vesting, and/or DCA VOO
You donโt have to be super smart, just have patience and be consistent and focused, wealth will follow you.

The whole go to startups to become rich is not valid anymore due to FAANGpay being huge.
Startups offer a way for quick wealth for ๐ฉtier company employees who havenโt leetcoded yet and are not willing to but are smart and capable.
Slowish way of working at big companies and switching between them for bigger TC is a more safer way.
