Starting to interview for SRE roles at a bunch of compnies. Trasnitioning over from SWE. Wondering if theres any resources out there for SRE interviews( I believe there will be the standard LC rounds which I can prep for but not sure about what else I can prepare for other than scenario based stuff )
Systems Performance by Brendan Gregg (his blog as well), Linux Programming Interface, The illustrated Network, Google SRE book, Understanding the Linux Kernel (this one is very out of date tho) should be a good starting point for review. Obviously these books may not make much sense if you haven’t spent time picking up SRE stuff as SWE before this
GitHub repo: awesome-sre. Google it, it’s a really resource!
There’s no real resource like LC for SRE, it’s just knowing your shit. LinuxAcademy and aCloudGuru should be sufficient
That’s what I figured thanks
