Looking for recommendations for high yield trustworthy savings account. Or any other monetary instruments that would give you instant access to your funds with some growth possibilities.
Ally. Much better than most and FDIC insured
I like Ally
Wealthfront is probably the best one right now, there are like 3 or 4 that are fairly decent though.
Ally
Trustworthy = FDIC Insured High yield = Not really a thing. Max is 2.5%
Marcus by Goldman Sachs, American Express, CIT is willing to jump thru hopes, synchronity, or webbank If rate trumps all
I think you savings account / cash / money market folks need to educate yourself on bonds. Even munis beat the puny amount you get from savings etc.
I foresee a possible need to withdraw these funds in two years or maybe earlier. This is a fund I want to set aside which can be liquidated in couple of days without being affected by market conditions.
None of this is an issue for bonds. But donāt take my word for it. Google it up.
HSBC is offering good rates on online savings. But a compromise on banking services. No Debit card is issued for Online Promo rates/Saving Acct. -FDIC Insured.
Stay away from Ally and HSBC. You will get š„ Discover, Marcus, lending club, wealthfront. Lots of options
Why donāt you like Ally?
They have a shady past. Especially under their previous name. I just personally donāt trust them
