I wanted to see if there are any other methods than just posting jobs on job boards. Overseas dev team is not needed. I need more team members I can rely on - preferably in the same building. Let me know if anyone can provide some insight.
Look in the Midwest. Lot more .net devs there than the Bay Area.
PM me with details on what you're looking to do...
If it's not gaming related... why are you using Unity? I'm curious as to what you are building as well.
VR application that isn't a game 🙂
how much are you willing to pay and how fast would you hire if someone proved to you that they are interested in VR and can do a very nice job using Unity?
I wouldn't write that here. However, I am interested in where you search for a potential job. Also, which company you decided to work with, what condition made it favorable, and why you may be looking for another opportunity.
This non-game VR stuff is what my team does. PM me and I can give you more details.
Thanks but we are not looking for a team, we are looking for an additional member to our team.
I know, I'm volunteering myself to talk more. Not my team to do it for you.

Unity is used in online games, right? You could look for those who have developed games in Unity. Very many sites out there with free games if that type that could have developed forums. Kongregate.com might be the largest site where any game dev can post their game for play. They even have a page just for Unity games.
I'm looking for Unity Devs who are willing to work on something that isn't related to game development. Most of game devs I met so far were really passionate about games.
Yeah. I can see how that could be the case. However, people don't always know what's behind why they like their jobs. If you could find that out from those you talk to and understand if your role speaks to those reasons, I'm sure a game dev would consider it.
