I used to use skiplagged but can’t include hidden cities. Don’t want to lose my airline status and want the frequent flyer miles. Also, is it ever worth using miles to buy flights on Delta? How do you calculate?
Google flights
Momondo is Kayak
Miles are typically worth 1 cent per mile, so if you find something like a united saver fare (or delta equivalent) where your return is > 1 cent per mile then you’re getting a good return
Can’t comment on Delta SkyMiles, but here are some more resources: 1) https://karaandnate.com/score-cheap-flights/ 2) if you have British airways Avios points (which you used to get with the awesome BA Chase Visa card), you can book flights on all OneWorld flights via the BA site. BA used to have more options for redeeming Avios points than American did for AAdvantage miles.
Plus if you have a Chase Sapphire Reserve or similar card, you can transfer your points 1:1 to BA but not to American.
Though personally I'd recommend Southwest for domestic anyway.
Try Skyscanner for international travel.
SHOP on Tues-Thurs when airlines discount. Not fly those days but buy those days.
Good reminder, thanks.
Search on ITA (or Kayak if you want to include LCCs) buy directly with airline
Lcc?
So call the airline directly and tell them you’re getting so and so fare on so and so route per ITA, and ask them to match? I’ve always seen exorbitant prices on tickets when searching for fares via the airlines website (tried lufthansa, cathay, korean, singapore, etihad, qatar)
Use google flights. They’ve really good deals and cheap flights. I tried couple of times, it’s really amazing.
