https://amp.businessinsider.com/whole-foods-healthcare-amazon-ceo-jeff-bezos-promises-business-roundtable-2019-9 this is just ridiculous. Why make promises you can't keep? Everytime Amazon acquires something it seems to do something like this. Zappos might be the only one who's been left alone.
Dickhead rockets and alimony are expensive businesses..plus the stock took a dive recently. Nothing like a round of cost cutting measures to blow some life in them charts.
Them leadership principles. Love it as a shareholder.
Replacing with free bananas, which is known for its health benefits. Bezos is a genius
Poor employees!
Amazon basically tries to increase the employee attrition rate for anything they own 😂
the beatings will continue until morale improves.... conditions for workers/working poor/lower middle class will continue to worsen until folks start organizing. was surprised to see a generally business-friendly publication (Business Insider) advocate for collective bargaining agreements (i.e. unions.) i am neutral... happy for businesses making savvy decisions. also believe passionately in workers' rights. but people need to learn to help themselves. tis what america is all about.
Reading the subtext here, this sounds like Amazon is trying to convert all part time employees at WF to full time. The ones who won’t / can’t switch will still have a job but will no longer have health insurance. Do part time employees at FCs get insurance?
They don't mention how many are getting converted to full-time. I'd assume if it was a sizeable number then that would be Amazon's defense.
Glad I didn’t accept amazon offer. What a dick.
Is that Obama’s pic photoshopped into bezos?
Nature of the beast. Have you not heard of the fox and the scorpion story. Edit: link for the uninitiated https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Scorpion_and_the_Frog
How much blind do you do?
Just doing the needful. 🙃
