Do you think it is a good time to buy bitcoin?

I wish I asked this question few months back.

    Bitcoin isn't a "rational" investment based on fundamentals because there are no fundamentals. Bitcoin isn't a company or even a speculative commodity (like oranges or oil contracts).

    As far as fundamentals, it fails as a currency. What currency do you know of where you get charged 15 USD to send someone 10USD? (The bitcoin transaction fees are per transaction and have nothing to do with the amount).

    Secondly bitcoin also takes somewhere of 10 to 20 minutes to confirm a transaction. Could you imagine checking out at a grocery store and sitting around for 20 mins after you checked out?

    Price of bitcoin is ONLY high because it is a hype fueled pump. In this case a long pump (multiple years). There's no predicting it because it has no fundamentals to predict.

    If you want to get into crypto, look into zcash....almost no transaction fees, transactions confirm quickly, and the privacy model for z-addresses uses zero knowledge proofs.

    Investing in bitcoin isn't investing. It's gambling. So, yeah if you want to play the slots and see what happens go for it. But don't put money in there if you're afraid to lose.

      Your point is bitcoin is not good for transactions. No wants to use it for day to day transactions. It is used for settling.
      Learn about how cash is moved around and settled. It will make your understanding of bitcoin easier
