I've been instant rejected (no recruiter screen) after referrals to Facebook for 3 years in a row. Does this mean I'm blacklisted? I've only applied to fb out of college and am fairly experienced as a PM in unicorns, so I'm surprised I don't even warrant a phone screen. Any suggestions from people at FB?
I don’t know much about FB but they are like google in regards to university discrimination. Google won’t hire anyone from California state universities since Stanford aluminum make fun of them unless it’s a two way serve such as minority quota or something like that.
I'm a Stanford grad so probably not that. But I graduated well over a decade ago... So still shouldn't matter.
Won't hire from CSU .. that true?
Can you clarify what you mean by only applying out of college, yet fairly experienced as a PM?
I've only ever applied to Fb once before when I was in college and they were pre IPO. Since then, I've PMd at Google and some fairly hot startups.
I applied to over 30 jobs with them never got an interview until I was approached by a recruiter on linked-in
