Blind is sending notifications through the app that accounts will need to be verified every x number of months. Some employers started blocking emails from Blind and this means that existing users can't get a new verification code and will be locked out. How can we solve this problem, Blind? #help
Will use Netflix as example for your company. Temporary solution I can think of, (though I doubt it's worth Blind's effort) is for Blind to use their Gmail account (say, blind@gmail.com will send email zoomMBA@netflix.com) to email the confirmation, while Gmail is unblocked from Netflix. Then when Netflix blocks gmail, Blind must use another email system.
Why would they do this?
Another solution is blind shows you an alphanumeric string, and you need to send an email to their gmail / email with that string inside the email. They’ll then catch the domain name. They can alternate email addresses / domains so that companies can’t block a singular email address for outgoing email. This prompt is only shown after you do regular verification and then you press the button that says blind domain is blocked and then they show you the code and email address to send the code to. But! Wouldn’t it be nicer for them to just ask you to confirm active employment vs. verification?
