Would appreciate some feedback about following teams - Trade automation and execution - Web shared services - Trading systems - Web multimedia services Thanks!
people first. interview all the teams and see who you would enjoy working with.
It'd be best to talk to them and get to know what kind of projects they are working on and see if the tech or the project is of interest to you.
Pick terminal teams over non terminal teams if you care about impact on the product / business side.
Pick non terminal teams if you don’t wanna work on C++ all your life
I don’t think that’s true. I met many engineers working on the terminal side using technologies / programming language beyond c++. In fact, a lot of teams don’t use c++ at all.
Growth is not on the terminal anymore, it is the non terminal products making new money
Just not ts. They have shitty management.
