Bloomberg pay as much as Facebook e5 comp?
With 15 yoe. Does Bloomberg pay as much as Facebook e5? I'm not at Facebook but from here I've gathered Facebook is 300 to 350 on average. For Bloomberg to be comparable, I'm think base has to be 260k+ since they only do base+cash bonus of around 15%. Or asked differently what number do you give Bloomberg recruiter in order for them to give you Facebook money? Or does Bloomberg not pay anywhere near Facebook?

I’ve matched 300-350k offers from BBG recently. This is true and recent. Senior ICs. SDE 3 level for most tech firms.

I really like it. But just the tech org is 20k people - so there are certainly pockets of really bad groups and some high performing groups. Depending on your team and org - your experience can vary, but overall it’s a good place.
I believe this is a bit too high for Bloomberg. I think most of senior engineers reach a ceiling around 260-300 total comp. Please correct me if I am wrong. However, with market currently being so hot ...bbg might be pushed to offer 350 ...have not seen those with own eyes.
