Bloomberg search team and Spotify
I have technical interviews with Bloomberg search infrastructure team ( the one that works on Some) and for a general backend dev at Spotify? Any advice? 6 YoE, Ex-Amzn Retail

The only team doing real search at Bloomberg is under ML. the infrastructure stuff seems like just general engineering

Search infrastructure, not relevance. Extending Apache Solr and such
Extending Solr and such is boring work unless you also get to tinker with relevance/nlp/ml as part of the job.
