At Bloomberg, I only saw two levels. Either you are software engineer or Senior Software engineer. When you join as se or sse, internally are there levels? Like is there terminal level? TC:71K
The terminal starts at $24k a year with modest discount for volume licenses.
Not talking about Bloomberg terminal 😂😂
Working at BBG for 10+ years. Just two levels. Pay raise is really low once you join even if you beat expectation every year. Growth ceilings if you want to be IC. Great WLB. All my friends who moved to FAANG are happy.

Terminal level?
Up or out. You get to this level or you are no longer employed at the company. Basically up or out
SWE is mostly for <= 3 YOE and then you’ll become a Senior SWE pretty much automatically
