I got a BB offer of 360k for senior engineer. I currently like Amazon, but bad PCS made me look around.
Is it worth joining Bloomberg over Amazon? It's rare on blind but you're treated highly when you say I work for Amazon. Classic case of Stockholm Syndrome?
I always see myself working at Apple or Amazon long term.
TC: 277k, next year 315k without 15% bump baked in.
Rating: TT, not sure if it matters. On L6 promo path
New TC: 360K
Yoe: 8

I believe this can also work against you when you get a below market raise. My skip also treats company stock in other firms as paper money and tries to justify the difference by paying another 20k in cash.
If you’re looking for comp growth, this isn’t the place. Also, I have been here for ~3yrs so take what I’m saying with a pinch of salt.
I value and carefully listen to advice interviewees give me, it is usually so relevant and right to the point.
