Bloomberg vs JP Morgan - SWE Internship

I recently interviewed with Bloomberg and JPM for a 12 month SWE Internship in London and received offers from both of them. The offers do not differ much JPM: Base $60k + bonuses ($1-2k?) Bloomberg: Base $59k + Sign on $2k Location for both is London and both of them give return offers + good teams. I want to be really cautious to not make a bad choice as I'd be spending 12 months interning. What should I go with and why? YoE: 0 TC: $50k (in last internship)

Do you know which team might be offering a better wlb? That’s going to be super important if you want to get to a fang. That being said if all things are equal I’d probably choose Bloomberg

I don't know the teams as I'd be on rotation (it's a year long internship)

From my experience of interviewing at both Bloomberg's standard and engineering culture is at a higher standard overall. Recommend bloomberg.

Bloomberg 100% if you plan on staying in tech. JPMC are 4th tier in the UK. Grad salaries also higher at Bloomberg.

Bloomberg of course, it’s closer to a tech company than JPM will ever be.

this should absolutely be a no brainer. let me tell you from experience- it’s a completely different work experience to be the revenue generating area of a business (tech at bloomberg) vs a support area like this JPM role. investment firms love to say they’re investing in tech and tech talent but they’re so far behind and the learning/mentorship opportunities just aren’t there.
