Anyone from BAH here to comment on what it's like to work there? Pros and cons?
What location
It's a staffing agency for the federal government. Terrible onboarding, especially if you're hired for the bench as most people are. You're also a slave for your client, and the pay is mediocre. Not worth it.
Say it louder for the people in the backkkkk. Ayyyy
i would say it is worth it if you are new to tech since the work tends to work on the fed's schedule (generally slow). so youll have time to build up your resume. interviews are also simpler (no code review) so it is a good way to get your foot in the door with little experience
Commercial or fed?
You're at Google and want to leave? Booz isn't bad. Pay is mediocre, but coming from Google you could get the salary you want if you negotiate. May I ask why are you leaving Google and why Booz?
Yeah tbh do not leave google for your sanity. I work in a windowless office space. Save yourself
Wait you're at Google. Are you fucking high m8?đ Google to Booz is a step backwards But it really depends on why you want o work here and what account you'll be working in.
Google is first world heavenâŠ99.99999999% of the rest of the world is 2nd world at best. Whatever problems you worry about at Google is treasure at another firm. If youâre bored, My recommendation is to stay at Google and find a side hustle that inspires you. Of course, do a great job and stay ahead of the performance curve at Google, but appropriately use Googleâs resources to support your passion project. I liken it to being a student who is unfulfilled with life at an elite university. Keep up the good grades at your school, but find a social network outside of the school. Youâll find school life AND social life makes your total life more meaningful not just for now, but beyond into the future.
There are pros? Glassdoor's cons are pretty accurate.
