      Interesting, based on what criteria?

    • Lived in both Boston and Seattle. Boston has way more things to do, much more diverse than just a bland tech city. Better restaurants, culture, richer history, public transit. So many distinctive neighborhoods that are worth visiting. Fall is beautiful.
Only downside is cold winters and expensive housing but you're only there a year anyway. Traffic can be bad but that's a problem in every big city

Also New York is cool but can be really dirty and disgusting

Austin is a lot more fun in terms of things to do - concerts, fun bears, great restaurants.

Boston has a lot more to do around it and you have easy access to many many places. Also much better intellectual culture in terms of museums, people, etc.

I live in New York now - if I had to pick one I’d do Boston but probably because of proximity to New York ;)

Boston is good, but winters are nasty. Austin is good, but summers are nasty.

Really, impossible to say without knowing what is important to you.
