Box is recruiting me for an account executive role. How's their trajectory from a product perspective? How is comp in a sales role? MS: TC $300K
Like most sales gigs. Depends on segment and territory. In Field, Plenty of folks blowing out quota, others not coming close. Feast or famine. On the inside it’s a bit more consistent. But that’s everywhere. Product is best in class, but at a premium. Especially compared to perceived “free” vs Msft. If a customer has an actual content strategy Box will win 9 out of 10 times. But content (unstructured) is usually an after thought for most companies. Best of breed (box wins) vs single vendor (Msft wins) Sales job is focused on moving the needle on perception and priority for customers.
Yoe? Are you in the product or services side?
