Any pointers to prep for phone interview(staff engg) ? Leetcode doesn't have a lot of box questions. Are the interview questions at FB/Amazon level ?
Leetcode all the way my friend.
Thanks guys. Do I need to quickly Answr the first qs, skipping the customary brute force blah blah, so that I can take a second one or is it just one question ? The phone interview is for 1 hr. Also will there be a system design qs in tel interview?
Be honest and open about yourself, what you know and what you don’t, and what you are looking for in the new opportunity. Box always looks for a “cultural fit” first, second is what do you know, third is will they be able to teach you the rest. If you are weak in some areas it’s usually not an issue provided you are honest about it and eager to learn. The mottos at box are “Make Mom proud” and “Fail fast”. So if you are the type of person that does the “right thing” and you are able to learn from your mistakes- you’ll fit like a glove. Good luck!
I having a onsite interview coming up. There is a 2 hour coding interview. What should I prepare and expect from this round?
Hi Op, how was your experience?
It went well. Don't know whether I will get in. As others mentioned, they are Very professional communicative ... you can learn something even if you don't get in. Go for it.
Update? Did you get an offer?
