I applied to a Box Enterprise Sales position in early May. I’ve gone back and forth with the recruiter for over a month because they said that they are still hiring a manager for the role so they are slowing down the process (I get it). Then the convo picks back up in June, recruiter says they are moving forward and moving fast! He schedules a phone interview with an existing manager (but not the manager of the territory who isn’t hired yet). The manager does not show up to the interview, apparently a customer meeting came up. The recruiter then says he is going to schedule another phone interview with another manager and that the sales director will be coming into town within two weeks. The recruiter then does not say another word for two weeks and doesn’t respond to phone/email. Is this standard practice at Box? What’s going on over there? Has anyone else experienced this going through the Enterprise AE interview process?
Same here. My experience is recent.they are Very slow. I got offer from 3 other companies and box just scheduled an onsite in that two and half months. Asked them to stop the process.
Had a terrible experience interviewing at Box. Chief of Staff showed up late and then cancelled a follow-up interview without notice.
Had another interview set up, only to be notified ON THE DAY OF that the interview was cancelled bc they "froze headcount." Seriously a waste of time.
Box is one of the worst places to work. HR explicitly asks employees to fill out positive Glassdoor interviews. The recruiter could care less about how you feel. It’s all about Box!
I also had a terrible experience interviewing for Enterprise AE position in NYC. I went for an in person, when I get there they tell me they need to reschedule. I rescheduled for the following day and I never showed up
This is not uncommon for Box. The worst interview experience that I have had was at Box.
