I've completed the online assessment and have been matched to a FEE role on AWS. I was wondering is it better to be a frontend or backend developer at Amazon? Which position has better wlb and career progression? #amazon #aws #interview

But really, every team at Amazon has freedom to operate pretty much however they want. So your experience will just depend on the team and manager.
I'd imagine that younger AWS teams have a higher ceiling - probably less ops, more interesting work (building new projects instead of ktlo trash).
I know people in SageMaker who say that they like their team. A couple people in Glue say they like it. I don't know anyone in Lex but they seem to be launching things pretty quickly.
In the Amazon blind channel, people seem to trash talk on Twitch Prime, but the few engineers I've spoken with there enjoy it enough. Twitch is probably better than Twitch Prime though if you can go there (they act independently from amazon). Also knew a guy in one of IMDBs teams who liked his work.
But any of these places will also be filled with people who hate it. It's gonna vary wildly.
