Are there any accountants in the house? Busy season is coming around...Anyone planning to leave before? Last year I almost died during this time. Does anyone have suggestions on how to find balance during this time? I'm legit afraid.
My advice would be consider it temporary. Also I work in midsize accounting where work pressure is not that bad.
Thank god I chose to do tax at a Business Management form... depending on where you are in years, it may be time to leave
Fuck any job that severely affects your health. Get out.
Get your experience and get out at senior or when u have ur CPA, if the busy season is too much 4ya
I mean, I'm not Public Accounting, but my WL balance is no better in industry accounting. 😭
Shall we compare?
Oh boy, another comparative analytic! What are we comparing? Average hours YOY? YTD hours worked since 01/01/2020?
I left a few months after one. Not sure if you are exaggerating when you say you almost died or if there was literally some sort of health issue last year. If the latter, I'd say you need to get out. Nothing is worth losing your health over. Otherwise, I wouldn't say stick it out, but keep reminding yourself that it'll be over in a few months. Always see what's out there and be open to opportunities as well.
I know 3 in my family. Infact one used to work for PwC. Don’t let the pressure get to u. What do u mean u almost died?
