I’m looking at two homes ( 1 in UC and other in Newark) both are beautiful single family homes . Here are pros and cons for each
1. UC home is in top elementary school district , safe community walkable to union landing and a bit closer to SF for commute .
Cons : the house is slightly smaller ( 1900 sq ft) and my friends give me weird looks when I say a bought a house in UC.
2.Newark home is bigger 2000 sq ft , 50 K lesser than UC home, safer community and lots of FB crowd . Cons: really shit schools .
Commute wise not much of a diff for me and my spouse as both are 2-3 miles away from each other
Please advice what’s better longer term (5-7 years )
