I'm really interested in those new condos and townhomes being built in Fremont. However, the commute to Lyft SF would involve a 1 hour Bart ride plus a half hour walk to the Lyft SF office. Each way. That is 3 hours a day spent on commuting. In the past, my commute to any job has never been longer than 20 mins. Lyft hasn't announced a long term WFH policy but I suspect I will be able to do 2 days a week WFH, which would help. Plus, I hear the Bart has new trains which are more comfortable than the old ones.
Also it smells like poop there.
Why dont you buy near closer station. Also sf condo are selling at deal prices.
No
Try Dublin similar commute
This.
The advantage of getting on Bart there is that you will get a seat in the morning, so you will be able to nap or be moderately productive on the way in. But still that's a long commute
Hey OP. Let me know if you need a referral for a seasoned realtor to help you selling a house in Bay Area.
Whuuuu, can you also hook up some prepaid legal and quick star?
Like a 🦄
in addition to the long ride, bart sucks. did that exact commute for a year. never again
I did a long commute to Lyft HQ from pleasant hill -it was about 1h-1.20 each way and I hated my life!!! I would leave home at 7:30-8am, be at work at 9:30, leave work at 5-5:30 and be home at 7. No time for anything else. A lot of people do that and they don’t mind but....
Message me if you need a referral at toll brothers home in metro west. We both get $15k😀. I bought a home there and it looks like good decision considering how fast houses are selling
What’s the going price for it at the moment
Till long term plans are set just rent, but also invest
