I need to buy washer/dryer/fridge. Which company’s appliances are good quality and reliable for each of them? PS- Just like Samsung is a no-brainer for TV
How about meale ?
I’ve had good luck with the Maytag models built in the USA. The Maytag brand is owned by Whirlpool.
I have a whirlpool washer and dryer and both are great!
How is Bosch? Seen it in lots of luxury apartments.
If you like Samsung why not them? Else go high end if you can afford it. A kitchenaid fridge will last forever but set you back at least 10k.
Can you tell how are the kitchen brands classified as. E.g. Civic-Cheap and decent Mercedes-Expensive and superior Porsche- Bells and whistle
Samsung is cheap with bells and whistles. Kitchenaid is professional and durable.
Get a 5 year warranty on it. Anything that moves, breaks.
Miele, Viking, maybe Bosch? Or if you have infinite money, there are some exotic German brands like Kuppersbusch.
Samsung is shit
This thread show how little people know about globalization. Almost all brands are the exact same components under the cover. Kenmore doesn’t even exist. It is a new logo slapped on top of exact same whirlpool models. Maytag, kitchenaid, maytag, Amana, Hotpoint, jennaire, +10 more are all brands of Whirlpool. Frigidaire is the same company as Electrolux. Components are shared across all brands. GE appliances are now owned by Haier. Etc etc etc. Lesson to take is that in a mature market brands are marking tools. Everything becomes a commodity. I have appliances from 1-20 years old. I’ve never had a problems with anything. They all work and look just like brand new. Samsung, lg, Kenmore, Whirlpool, GE, Maytag, Haier.
Cool story bro.
He’s right. Your main US brands are Whirlpool and Electrolux. EU you get Bosch (AEG) and Miele. Korea is LG & Samsung. So long as you get a long warranty and the engineers and the parts are available locally, it doesn’t really matter which one you get.
Buy whatever is cheapest that you like the look/function of. Add a 5 year warranty (if reasonably priced). You’ll want to replace it in 5 years anyways. If it isn’t broken, you’ll want newer features.
None of them. You will have to throw it away and replace it in 6-8 years no matter which brand because everything is built like shit now so just get the cheapest.
Kinda true tho. These things used to last decades
A) they did a shit job cleaning B) people’s usage profiles have increased and C) people wear rose tinted glasses.
