I just received an offer from TikTok Los Angeles working on the LERT team (non-tech role) and I am wondering what amount I should realistically counter with. I have 10+ years in a very similar role in Law Enforcement. I crushed my interviews and the recruiter stated that they were extending an offer a week sooner that anticipated. Something about the interview panel not needing to meet. They offered:
Base 90k
Bonus: 12.5%=11,250
Sign-On Bonus: 12k
RSU:250 shares @ $195= 48,700
Vesting :15,25,25,35
Year 1 Total with;without rsu: 108,562/101,250
Current TC: 85k
I was thinking of countering with 150k TC. Is that too much? Too little? I know I'll get more if I ask, but I don't want to ask for too little and leave money on the table. Thanks for helping blinders.
