Kind people of Blind, I need some help.
I am currently a FTE on H1B at my current company which is a small software business.
I have an offer from a software consulting firm but they want to hire me through C2C not do H1B.
Now since its a software consulting firm, I will already kind of a contractor for end client like other consulting firms from my understanding.
I know nowadays thisare frowned upon.
I really like the position but wanted advice on :
1. Switch to C2C and work for software consulting form and work for client. This feels like subcontracting.
2. Ask them to file H1B and switch to software consulting firm and work for client.
3. Dont work for them.
Will I have H1B issues in either one or two? My current employer is not really looking to GC so thats why trying hard to get out.
Edit : Company A is software consulting firm who have clients. Company B is the vendor for C2C.
In option one, I will be a FTE of Company B working for A C2C.
In option two, I will be a FTE for Company A.
