My friend has an offer from C3.ai for senior SWE. The offer looks ok (280k TC) but he wants to know more about the work culture. Any insight on management style, work culture, and expectation on extra hours?

    As far as I can tell based on talking to a few friends who work there, working at C3 is like joining a cult. To be clear, my friends didn’t tell me it’s like a cult. They have turned into cult members themselves.

    If you don’t drink the Koolaid you need to pretend too. If you have an offer elsewhere and want to live a normal life it’s not a bad idea to pursue other avenues.
