Why do you think it is unlikely? If OP is very talented and a great team fit what are you surprised about? Have you seen Citadel’s revenue per employee numbers or overall market impact? I am surprised by your surprise TBH. Also this meme about ridiculous hours has got to stop, 50hrs a week is pretty standard without that much fluctuation. Sure someone on the internet will always jump in about some friend of a friend who had a bad experience but I can assure you that is an exception based on a legacy culture and not the norm.
