getting a bmw x5 lease deal for 4K down and $550/month for 30 months.

we are also thinking of buying a tesla model 3 dual motor long range with standard color and options.

which is a cheaper and better option if we are just looking to keep these vehicles for 24-30 months?

    New BMW depreciate too fast, even leasing is still too expensive.

    Buy a CPO bmw (buy it from LA if you’re based in bay area)

    • You don’t understand. The AWD is so you don’t have to deal with chain control, not for any real improvement in traction. Also carrying shit to Tahoe like snowboards and luggage is much easier in SUV. I’m also from the Midwest

      This^ if you want traction, buy snow tires. They are more helpful than AWD.

      Who wants to be forced to spend 15 minutes each way outside in the snow with a car full of passengers, getting their hands and clothes full of crap while freezing their bums off? Also, AWD does help with icy parking spots.

    $550 is a steal! BMW hands down, Tesla is garbage compared to a very capable, spacious, comfortable and well crafted X5. Only selling point of Model 3 is it’s electric, get it if you just want that.
