I'm currently working at Amazon as an SDE I with total 3 years of experience (2 years in Samsung R&D and 1 year in Amazon). Have a Masters in CS from UC Santa Barbara.
I just received an offer for SDE II role at level 61 at Redmond.
Currently negotiating TC with the recruiter. What would be a reasonable TC to expect?
My current TC at Amazon as SDE I looks like this:
Base: 120k
Sign-on bonus: 37k
RSU for year 1: 5k
Total: 162k
Update:
My finalized offer stands at:
Base: 140k
Sign-on: 35k (across 2 years)
RSU: 120k/4
Variable bonus: 10-20% on Base based on performance ~ 14-28k
So that translates to roughly 201.5k considering avg. performance for the first year

Also they'll tell you some crazy high TC that is misleading because it assumes you get the maximum bonus and RSU refresh in your first year (you won't). Get the components and do that math yourself.
