Cruise jobs at Michigan test track?

I'm looking at job postings within the AV industry recently and seeing some roles with Cruise located in Michigan. I can only assume these roles relate to General Motor's huge automotive test facility at the location? What is it like working at a satellite location for Cruise that is owned by one of their investors?

    GM MPG is a pretty cool facility. Lots of fun test surfaces. Cool to see all of GM's camo prototypes running around. Had L3 driving certs there until I left my last job. Autonomous and ADAS have their own dedicated test area. I'd say it's so you don't have to worry about everyone else, but it's because ADAS teams were zooming up on everyone's bumpers hoping AAC and active braking would work properly. Got themselves shunned.

    They have a team that sit at GM's test track and work with vehicles on the closed course. Pay is better than working at GM. Growth may be none.
