    They will not do as their GPT-3 is going in the route to a service offering. Seems their strategy is towards revenue generation it wouldn’t be open. That’s my 2 cents

    Now they're giving AI Tech to everyone for a price.
    As for preventing, I don't think one company can prevent AI Arms race. All they can do is control what they create

    OpenAI has clearly changed courses especially after Microsoft heavy investment. To start with, they are no longer non-profit.
