i joined WF about six months ago in the tech area. i love the team and the opportunity of working for duch a large institution is awesome. also best benefits and work life balance ive ever seen. that being said..
i never have any assigned work. or assigned projects.
ill be assigned to projects, and told to join calls and extremely long email threads. then after these calls i will circle back around with project leads, ask questions. etc
half the time they dont respond. also, ill ask my tech lead for things to do and help with. ill get an extremely mundane or easy task and be done in a few minutes. other than that its just spreadsheets and basic “busy work”
i dont want to leave the company- i have a very broad set of skills and i know theres plenty of openings in my metro.
whats everyones thoughts on applying for a new internal position.
thanks

Also I’m wondering have you ever gone over your short, mid and long term goals with your manager?
