I had applied for the senior level DS or ML engineer positions at several companies. I had 4 straight rejections from onsite interviews.
I felt that I did not make big mistakes but I was not able to convince that I am good enough for the positions. DS level codings are pretty okay for me but I felt my weak points are ML case study. One of the feedbacks is that my case study solution is lack of technical depth. I am pretty okay with the general idea about ML but not sure at which point I can show my competitive edge to interviewers. I still have several more onsite interviews but I think that I would get the same results if I do not update/change my strategy. Any suggestions are welcome.

Michelangelo has a lot of good materials to learn from for ML system design. Not quite frontier but good place to start anyway.
