My nephew is palling to start undergrad in CS and confused about which college to join. He has admissions offered from Purdue University Indiana, Univ of Wisconsin, Madison UC Santa Cruz I think we should consider the quality of teaching, job opportunities, industry exposure and reputation for future education as he is considering masters in future. Update: This is mainly to provide more data for the kid. He is mostly relying on some Reddit post and some blogs.
😂😂😂
Yeah, this is not true.
Based on US News ranking, Madison > Purdue > Santa Cruz
Doesn't really matter, those universities are all comparable (none have a particularly strong reputation). Therefore he should choose wherever he thinks he'll be the happiest. Although I would say that if he wants to study CS and work in tech maybe he should consider UC SC, as it's pretty close to Silicone Valley
Not really a contest especially since you mention grad study. Univ of Wisconsin madison has great grad programs.
