Buy a new one if you are going to buy one. Unless you are a mechanic or are willing to learn to be one a 3 year old German vehicle will cost the same after maintenance and repairs.
I reaaally do not want to deal with maintenance. Donât think I could afford new though.
Do not buy a new car, ever. It loses 20% of its value the second it leaves the lot. Such a waste of money. If youâre going to buy a car then make it a few years old. Frankly, I think that you should be saving your money. 200 K in savings is not a lot. Youâre better off investing that money and earning a return rather than dumping it into a depreciating âassetâ.

Does it have to be a BMW? You can afford buying it, but can you afford maintaining it? BMW is notorious for having expensive maintenance costs.
