Can I get into top investment firms with a low SAT score? (SWE)

Hi,

tldr:
Just curious... Top investment firms companies keep reaching out to me and keep asking me for my GPA and SAT score. I went to a top 10 engineering school in the US and I got a 3.9+ GPA. BUT my SAT is actual πŸ’©... Do I still have a chance if I ace my Software Engineering Interviews?

I know this a kind of a stupid question since These firms typically recruit top students from top schools who obviously scored extremely high on the SAT in the first place.

I went to a top engineering school and I have a GPA that is in the top 99% of my Engineering class 3.9+ where the average was a 3.0 for my major but my SAT score is extremely average. I got a 1200/1600 in reading/math. Where as my peers at my top school all had 1500+.

How did I get into a top 10 engineering school with such a bad SAT score?? (bad for top 10 engineering programs)

High School years:

I didn't take school seriously. I didn't understand the importance of my work ethic between the ages of 13-17. I mostly played video games and chased after girls. I didn't get into any of the Universities I applied to except one. (tier 3 local University in my home town) I had some type of "awakening" where I realized I needed to try and get my shit together. I worked extremely hard and transferred to a top 10 Engineering School. (where I obviously did really well)

I KNOW this is a stupid question and in my own personal opinion standardized testing doesn't mean anything BUT these elite firms care and I am pretty sure there is some type of threshold that I'll fail.

Side Note: I also don't think someone's GPA is the best measurement of their ability.

Anyways, if you happen to know what the cutoffs are or if your SAT score actually matters pls lmk lol

Thanks!
