For about 5 years, I was a full time developer at a software agency, where I helped build lots of different apps for lots of different clients in lots of different frameworks. I worked on:
• An iOS app for a well known company in Minnesota that had over a million users.
• An iOS app that was used in a DoD-funded health study at a large university
• A mobile app for a city government, used by city residents
• A mobile app for a Series D San Francisco-based startup
I left the agency a little over a year ago. During my last job search, I focused on the projects and the frameworks I used, and I didn't mention any specific company/organization names. But if I want to break into FAANG and related companies, would it make my resume look a bit more prestigious if I mentioned the client names? Or would that violate some sort of NDA and make me look bad for not being very discreet?
