Hi all, I started a YouTube channel and I’m wondering if I can talk about my job at Google. Not about any company secrets, but more about perks, how I prepared for interviews and how I found a job etc. Is it violating the company policy? I reached out to Group Legal but they could not help me answer that. I’d appreciate if there’s any doc I can read up. Thank you in advance! TC: not related #Google
Yes there is already a girl named Sundas Khaledd who posts about her job at Google on Instagram
Chances are you are gonna blew some work related frustration at some point in your video. And get fired.
If you can't even abide by the blind rule of TC or GTFO you're certainly going to violate some policy about privacy and get yourself fired
If it’s so special that only google does it then you cannot , if it’s not then what’s the point . Now of course like many other influencer kind on social media these days if you are going to talk about how to invert a binary tree with googliness, please go ahead it’s a free world.
If you are only talking about company perks (which are fully public knowledge) and how you prepared for interviews in general (again plenty of publicly available resources) there’s no issue at all. If you start describing your day to day work you start getting into problems I would imagine
TC is always related, pay the blind tax
Talk to a lawyer first.
You might get fired!
