What makes Bolt more attractive than Stripe or PayPal for businesses ? #bolt #stripe #paypal
I lost you at ELI5 😂
I’ll give it a shot. TLDR Bolt checkout has features that enterprise companies need and the competitors don’t. Plus, having an account network that’s growing fast doesn’t hurt.
big enterprise companies need their checkout system to integrate into their existing eCommerce systems- their cart provider, shipping+tax provider, payment processor, etc. They also need custom functionality like discount codes, gift cards, store credit cards, etc. Stripe/PayPal/ShopPay/etc have checkout solutions that aren’t flexible enough. Stripe makes you use stripe as your payment processor. ShopPay makes you use Shopify as your cart provider. Paypal checkout just takes a number to charge, so they can’t take discount codes, gift cards, etc during checkout. That’s why, before Bolt, big companies had to build and maintain their checkout themselves.
Bolt is so successful because they built something difficult: checkout that integrates with whatever you’re already using. And now that they’ve used that to win big enterprise customers, the Bolt shopper network is becoming the company’s new growth driver. If someone is signed in with their Bolt account, they have a one click checkout experience at any Bolt merchant. That boosts conversion which is money in the merchant’s pocket. So as the Bolt network gets bigger, the more value Bolt checkout has. And the network has been growing exponentially
What else do you need?😛
PayPal has x million merchants and bolt has 300 merchants
@s.pikhai you must be kidding with this pic. These are not apples to apples. Personally I would go for Bolt though.
