Hi everyone I’ve had this question for months, can someone throw some light? I understand the founder of zoom worked at webex for many yrs, isn’t it then against your company policy to create a competing product?

Non compete clases are void in the state of California people. You can even sign a contract with that clause and just entire it as long as you work in California

Non competing clause is usually applicable for 6 months. May be more in some cases.
