Canada data scientist salary range??
TOE: 6 New Canadian PR...got a gig at BMO as an independant contractor..pay is $93k CAD...I'm doing it, but I feel like shit...what the going rate at BMO and other Canadian banks FTE/ contract ... Getting an offer at TD for $85k full time as a senior analyst, but I'm finding it hard to crack $100k... Was paid inr 25lpa in India and wondering if Canada was a mistake...

85k sounds pretty low. Data scientist in my team makes 120K with 2 YOE

I’m not sure about data science role but an AI role with PhD at BMO gets between 130-180K (grade 8).

Did you change the jobs later? I am in the same boat now, looking for senior data scientist opportunities in Canada. I will be shifting from US.
contractor should be paid more than full time to compensate benefit difference. i know someone (YOE = 6) who is making 100k as a full time in a canadian bank
