Hey guys, I have got the offer from Amazon for a position in Vancouver. I have few questions: 1.) I am currently working with Microsoft in Hyderabad. Do I need to give IELTS test for securing the work visa for Canada? 2.) If I am currently not working with amazon, will I get the work visa ? Or they will have to apply for PR? I am currently working in India. Can someone answer the above questions if someone has gone through this process already in the past?
What's the tc? How much salary are they offering in Canada?
You don't have to give IELTS. They can directly sponsor your work visa. The process is very straight forward. Also, can share your offer details? Looking to make a move there. Thanks.
TC or GTFO!
Hi can I dm, wanted to know few things about agoda
Sure
You are going to need a work permit (visa) supported by a lmia. Amazon's lawyers will take care of this. Don't worry.
It's just takes 30 secs to reply back to give more info about the offer that the person has got. But, people only believe in getting not giving something back to the community.
Hey guys, I have not got the offer yet, they are still finding team for me. I will update when I will get the offer.
OP did you get the offer ?
They told that this is huge offer in Vancouver. After searching on internet I found that wages in Vancouver are low compared to Seattle and all. So, this offer looks good. I have not accepted the offer yet, I am thinking about it.
It's a point based immigration system. The offer will add points to your application. And yes, you need to present IELTS results
He has to give IELTS only if he is applying for PR, in that case he can use his job offer to get extra points. But, he can avoid this if Amazon directly applies for his work permit, which is a very straight forward process. PS: already have Canadian PR.
I didn't get it. If amazon applies for hiw work permit, he wouldn't need to get IELTS ? and for PR, does he still need IELTS? how long does it take to get the PR ?
