Hi, I married a Californian earlier this year and we decided to switch gears and settle in SoCal instead of Toronto. We're definitely doing the spousal sponsorship route when I get there but I'd prefer to remain employed while minimizing our time apart. What's the best way to go about this? Just get a job offer and get a TN at the border? Is my situation something I should disclose on my applications? Started grinding leetcode 3 weeks ago so I don't think I'll have enough time to prep for FANG since I'm looking to relocate within the next 2-3 months, if possible. What companies should I target in SoCal? Thanks in advance. YOE: 6 Currently a Staff Software Engineer
The hard part about getting into FAANG in SoCal is that the offices there have very low head count compare to Bay Area and Seattle.
