Pay for performance company. Merit increase is based on performance rating and where you fall in compensation band for your job family. Merit increases typically range from 2.5-7%.
Bonus is also based on performance rating and become a larger percentage of your compensation as you move up.
Compensation differential between northern VA and Richmond is 10%. You don’t mention the location.
Pay varies by job family.
It’s not perfect - a bit of shiny object syndrome. But my leadership gives me a ton of freedom and doesn’t bat an eye when I want to experiment and do something different. Overall recommend.
