My statements about 70k and 120k were for time frame 2013-14. Please adjust that for current time too!
Who hurt you?
Why are you so harsh and angry?
Ok, that was corny
I'm a Senior Director of engineering at Capital One.
I see folks come and go to FAANG at varying levels from here, but it can range from 6 to 8, depending on the company.
I am just over the range midpoint for this level and my comp at "Strong" (60% of distribution) is just over 500k.
My base salary is just over 370k, bonus is about 50k, and then stock of ~90k which vests over 3 years.
If you get into the exceptional top ~12%, it could be ~630k as the bonus jumps to about ~100k, and the stock goes to ~150k
If I stay, it will probably be closer to 560k for 2022.
