Bonuses and stock option awards are tiered - what you get is based upon your performance rating. What you were likely quoted is for target “strong” for both. Maximum possible for cash bonus is 2x that target strong level. You would have to ask what the maximum possible stock option award is - it varies by job family. Cost of living in Richmond is considered equal to that in Plano Texas from capital one compensation perspective. Based upon what I know of housing costs in the two areas, I believe Richmond is actually less expensive. 200k in Richmond is a fortune.
