Israeli precision-guided munition likely killed group of children playing foosball in Gaza, weapons experts say
Read in a couple of posts Cap1 is revamping the salary bands and adding equity for engineers. Any insights on that, please? Accepted offer in Nov for lead engineer position (no equity offered at that time). Start date is in Feb, so have some time to negotiate. Years of Experience: 5 TC : 250
Switched to capital one a couple months ago. Would also like to follow this. I wonder if they'll give out equity to current engineers as well but probably a pipe dream. TC 145k YOE 2 so I may need it haha.
What level are you? Senior or Principal?
Senior associate
Didn't know they were adding equity. From one of my other post it has been suggested that the bands are already in effect. Depending on the equity this could make Cap1 more competitive.(With Microsoft at least, not FAANG haha).
+1 for curious. Accepted 110k as a new grad for Plano starting in August of next year and it's feeling a little low with inflation... considering trying to re-negotiate if bands are changing.
Curious here as well. Considering applying for an eng position in Chicago soon. 6.5 YOE. @OP what city are you based out of?
I received an offer for new grad 2022 chicago with 121k base, 6k yearly bonus, 10k sign on for reference
Hired in December as SA in HCOL at ~160 base/0 equity/20K sign on + some relocation given as credits via third party (don't know value)
HCOL I am assuming NYC or SF, I wonder if they are the same as far as comp? Do you know what the performance bonus is.
curious here as well.
