My company is going from cash based grants to RSU grants again, at least they will give us the choice. They had used to give RSUs but for whatever reason decided to go to cash for the last few years. We are at all time high, what would you pick?
Assume equal grant value as of award date.

I would say cash if you have clear knowledge to invest it, else Rsu are better if you believe in the company growth.
is there any difference in payouts between cash and rsu? If it’s exactly same then I prefer cash for flexibility
